As we announced in our first Convention Preview, we are incorporating thematic programming blocks into General Session. We're delighted to announce the first programming block, slated for Saturday Afternoon General Session, will be devoted to:

Celebrating Black Voters

It's impossible to overstate the importance of Black Voters to the Democratic Party. The only reason Doug Jones became the first Democrat to win a Senate race in Alabama in nearly 30 years is because 98% of Black women voted for him, and there are countless examples where Black Voters were the crucial margin of victory for Democratic candidates.

Our Party is, and must be, a place where Black Lives Matter, where Black Voters are respected and valued, and where Black Leaders have a seat at the table at every level. We're proud to announce the following leaders will be featured in the program:
